About the role

The Swim Instructor provides private and group swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities include teaching water safety, evaluating student progress, and maintaining accurate course records.

The Swim Instructor provides private and group instruction to adults and children of all levels and abilities.

This position teaches swimming fundamentals, stroke mechanics, and water safety.

Work hours are flexible and include weekends and evenings.

This position is knowledgeable of the policies and procedures defined by the department.

Additional responsibilities include evaluating student achievement, completing routine paperwork, and maintaining course records with the American Red Cross.

Requirements

Candidates must have experience in aquatics and hold American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Additionally, an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification is required.
