The Lead Teacher will provide high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers while implementing service delivery aligned with Head Start standards. They are responsible for creating a nurturing environment, documenting developmental progress, and fostering emotional security through daily routines.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development or an Associate Degree with a study plan. A minimum of two years of experience in an early childhood setting is required, along with a caring and upbeat personality.
Provide high-quality care and education for infants and toddlers Implement integrated service delivery aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, DOH Article 47 Guidelines, and CMCS policies Recognize and support the individual needs of each child's culture, language, and abilities Establish daily routines and smooth transitions that foster emotional security Create nurturing, responsive interactions and environments Accurately document developmental progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD (TSG) and ChildPlus on a weekly basis
