Childrens Jefferson County Schools Counselor

The counselor will provide mental health services including assessment, individual and group therapy, and conflict resolution to students in special education or therapeutic classrooms. They are also responsible for developing individualized service plans and collaborating with school staff and community resources to meet student needs.

A master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling is required, with state licensure preferred. Candidates should have experience working with children or adolescents with serious emotional disturbances in a school or community setting.
