Core responsibilities
The employment direct support specialist provides job coaching and on-Site training to help clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities succeed in their employment. They also collaborate with case managers to monitor progress and ensure clients meet their individualized habilitation goals.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a valid california driver's license, reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass a criminal record clearance. Completion of 40-Hour acre training and first aid/Cpr certification is required within six months of hire.
