Core responsibilities
The camper support assistant works with the head of camper support to identify and assist campers with diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Responsibilities include facilitating peer mediation, creating behavior plans, and maintaining effective communication with counselors and parents.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold or be pursuing a graduate-Level degree in a mental health-Related field such as social work, psychology, or counseling. Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or recreational setting is preferred.
