Special Education Teacher - CCR Track 3

The teacher is responsible for developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps) and providing specially designed instruction to students with disabilities. They must also monitor student progress, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
