Family Services Specialist

The family services specialist manages family partnership activities in accordance with head start standards to support family well-Being and school readiness. They work closely with parents and teachers to foster positive relationships and assist families in achieving their educational and life goals.

A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is strongly preferred, with a requirement to obtain a family development credential within 12 months. Candidates must be physically capable of performing tasks associated with childcare and home visits, and bilingual spanish-English skills are highly desired.
