Summer Learning Acadamy-Day Camp Counselor

The day camp counselor leads children through daily recreational and educational activities while ensuring their emotional well-Being and physical safety. They are responsible for modeling ymca core values, maintaining attendance records, and assisting with camp events and swim supervision.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old with a passion for nurturing children and prior experience in youth programs or camp settings. Applicants are required to hold or obtain first aid, cpr, and oxygen certifications and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
