Core responsibilities
The instructor leads energizing and safe group exercise classes while building authentic relationships with members to support their health goals. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate attendance records and resolving member issues in alignment with ymca values.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a current ncca accredited group exercise certification and possess at least one year of experience in a fitness setting. Cpr, aed, and first aid certifications are also required for this role.
