Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Therapy
- Services: Provide speech-language therapy to ~30+ students Deliver weekly therapy sessions throughout the school year
- Provide summer compensatory services
- Student
- Support &
- Documentation: Review and implement IEPs Maintain service logs after each session Document progress in school systems (e.g., NASIS)
- Support development of student communication skills
- Collaboration:
- Attend and participate in: IEP meetings Parent-teacher conferences Multidisciplinary team meetings Provide updates to teachers, staff, and parents Participate in virtual or in-person meetings
Minimum Qualifications
Education Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience Certifications & Licensure Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification Current state license (New Mexico required)
