  • Summary: Provide in-person Occupational Therapy and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant services to identified special education students. Services include therapy, evaluations, IEP support, progress monitoring, teacher consultation, and required documentation. Work must be delivered in a culturally competent manner and comply with BIE, IDEA, and school requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to students on the special education caseload. Conduct OT evaluations and interpret results for IEP/MET teams. Develop IEP goals and provide recommendations for student support. Attend IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings. Provide teacher and staff consultation. Maintain service logs, progress reports, daily performance data, and case documentation. Sign in and out at the school front office and document services in NASIS as required. Provide own equipment, supplies, materials, and technology needed to perform services.

Requirements

Licensed Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Experience working with special education students preferred. Ability to provide in-person services one to two days per week. Ability to complete required background clearance. Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
