The swim instructor is responsible for providing swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels. They must effectively teach water safety and maintain organized, well-executed classes.
Candidates must be passionate about teaching swimming and possess or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification. The role requires the ability to follow a progressive sequence of instruction as defined by the facility.

Under the direction of the Aquatics Director or Regional Aquatics Coordinator, the Swim Instructor is required to perform the following essential job duties: Provide all levels of instruction to individuals of all ages Effectively teach swimming skills and water safety to students in a progressive sequence. Run organized and well executed classes as defined by Genesis Health Clubs CPR/First Aid certification or willing to attend training required
