Summary: Primary responsibility is to work one-on-one with the clients in the clinic or in any natural environment deemed appropriate for making progress toward treatment goals. This person works cohesively with Administrative and clinical staff involved with the client’s treatment plan. The ABA Implementer II is responsible for extensive data collection on the client’s progress as well as reporting of collected data. ABA Implementer II serves as a mentor and assists with the training of new ABA Implementers in the program. ABA Implementer II will recognize that the individuals we serve often have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. ABA Implementer II will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. ABA Implementer II reports to the Autism Supervisor and Clinical Director of the Bill & Virginia Leffen Center for Autism.

Responsibilities

Performing intensive interventions with clients with autism within the methodology of Applied Behavior Analysis. Collecting and maintaining data. Implementing plans to reduce challenging behavior. Receiving weekly supervision from the Coordinator/Supervisor and/or Behavior Analyst. Assisting clients in activities of daily living. Completing billing forms/documentation as required Perform all other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Typical physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping, and occasional team lifting to 200 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed. Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours and deal with irate individuals. May require evening and weekend hours. TB test upon hire.
