• Start date: 8/31/2026 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Grace Beginnings Academy Aftercare Assistant Teacher is passionate about guiding and caring for 6 weeks–5-year-olds in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate works collaboratively with the aftercare staff, and helps support each child’s growth in their physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development. This role assists in caring for and implementing activities following the school day. This is a school year (September-May), part-time position with a preferred schedule of 3:15-5:45p. There are three age groups available, Infants (6 weeks-15 months), Toddlers/JP (16 months – 2 years), or Preschool/PreK (3-5 years) Assist in implementing the aftercare schedule, including free play, outside time, activities and care for each child. Effectively communicate and collaborate with the other aftercare staff Approach behavioral issues that arise with children with Christ-centered love, respect and patience Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential requirement of this position Maintains licensing compliance Other duties as assigned QualificationsPROFESSIONAL

• Experience required: Must meet licensing requirements for an aide/assistant Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer.
