Core responsibilities
The family advocate is responsible for recruiting and enrolling eligible families into the head start program while providing comprehensive case management services. They also facilitate family partnership agreements, connect families with community resources, and ensure compliance with program standards and documentation requirements.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma and an fdc course, or a degree in a related social services field. A valid florida driver's license, first aid/Cpr certification, and the ability to pass background checks are required.
