Core responsibilities
The associate teacher works with the lead teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational programs for children ages 0 to 5. They are responsible for maintaining a safe classroom environment, documenting child progress, and fostering positive relationships with families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold at least an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field and be willing to obtain a child development associate (Cda) certification. Prior teaching experience in an early childhood setting is preferred, and all applicants must pass a background check.
