Core responsibilities
The teacher aide assists lead and associate teachers in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate educational programs for children ages 0 to 5. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean classroom environment while fostering positive social, emotional, and cognitive development in students.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have an active child development associate (Cda) certification or a willingness to obtain one. Two years of experience in an early childhood group setting is preferred, and applicants must pass a background check.
