Our Nursing Assistant Training Course is designed for individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Long-Term Care industry. At Marquis Companies, we offer comprehensive training for people committed to delivering compassionate care to seniors. What You’ll Do:

As a student in our training course, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and certification required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The course prepares you to take the State of Oregon Competency Exam.

This fast-paced program includes

Classroom instruction to build your foundational knowledge Lab setting simulations to develop hands-on skills Clinical practice in our facilities, working directly with our residents The course runs Monday through Friday for approximately 4 weeks. Classes are offered at Marquis Mt. Tabor and Marquis Tualatin monthly. See class schedules for specific dates and times.

What We Expect from You

To succeed in our training course, we are looking for students who are

• Professional, attentive, and ready to participate Able to dedicate 2-3 hours of studying per night Capable of lifting 40 pounds Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending
• English
• Enrollment
• Requirements: Must be at least 17 years old Legal documentation to establish your identity and eligibility for employment in the U.S. Willing to undergo a criminal background check and employment reference check
