Teacher assistant/Paraprofessional

The paraprofessional assists the teacher in managing the classroom environment and implementing educational and behavioral programs to support student potential. They actively facilitate student learning, monitor safety, and maintain behavior management plans while acting as a positive role model.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and hold an i.s.b.e. Paraprofessional or substitute teacher certificate. A valid illinois driver's license with a clean driving record for at least three years is also required.
