The Behavior Intervention Specialist will conduct assessments, develop behavior support plans, and monitor individual goals within the Day Habilitation program. They are also responsible for training Direct Support Professionals in ABA principles and ensuring compliance with OPWDD regulations.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a human services field and have experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism. A clean, valid driver's license and the physical ability to assist with lifting are also required.

QSAC is hiring for our Day Habilitation program! We are looking for committed and energetic Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS) who will conduct, assess and develop behavior support plans, address challenges and train our QIDPs and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in the Day Habilitation Program. We have openings in Queens Village, Jamaica, Astoria, and Manhattan Locations.
The salary range for this position is $52,000-$60,000 annually.
