We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of experience in a long-term care facility to join our team as a CNA Instructor on a contract basis. The CNA Instructor will provide both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training to individuals preparing for their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. This role is ideal for an RN with a passion for teaching and shaping the next generation of healthcare providers.
Deliver structured, engaging lessons following the New Jersey Department of Health CNA curriculum requirements.
Prepare students for the CNA certification exam by teaching essential skills, patient care techniques, and professional standards.
Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, case studies, multimedia tools, and group activities.
Provide hands-on clinical instruction, supervising students during simulated labs and clinical rotations.
Ensure students demonstrate proficiency in key skills such as patient hygiene, mobility support, feeding, and infection control.
Offer constructive feedback to improve student performance during clinical practice.

Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey with at least two years of experience. A minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care facility is required, and completion of a state-approved instructor/evaluator workshop is preferred.
