The Building Substitute Teacher will provide instructional continuity by implementing lesson plans across Preschool through 5th grade classrooms. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, productive learning environment and assisting with non-instructional duties like recess and lunchroom supervision.

Minnehaha Academy seeking a Building Substitute Teacher to work every school day of 2026-2027 in our Lower School. The Lower School Building Substitute will serve the entire Lower School, including Preschool through 5th grade classrooms, Specialist classrooms, and Preschool Teaching Assistant roles.
00-3:30. This is an hourly position, with 7 hours of paid time daily and an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.
To maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment and to provide strong and stable instruction for students during teacher absences.
The salary range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, to be determined by our Human Resource Director based on education and experience.
