The Swim Instructor provides direct leadership and instruction for swimming classes while ensuring the safety of all participants. They are responsible for maintaining pool rules, tracking student progress, and preparing organized lessons using the YMCA curriculum.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold current certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and YMCA Swim Instructor or American Red Cross WSI. The role requires physical agility to instruct stroke techniques and the ability to work on ladders and platforms.
