Position Summary
Wake Robin is seeking an Onboarding & Training Coordinator to help create a welcoming and supportive experience for Health & Resident Services staff. This role supports a strong orientation, coordinates staff education programs, and manages training and certification tracking. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and motivated to help new employees feel confident, prepared, and connected as they begin their career at Wake Robin.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Orientation
- Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for new Health & Resident Services staff, helping them feel supported and connected from their first day.
- Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Facilitate orientation programs to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, culture and commitment to resident-centered care.
- Coordinate staff orientation schedules and preceptors.
- Training & Education Management
- Oversee the

- Management
- System (LMS): assign modules, track completions, and maintain training content for staff.
- Coordinate CPR certification sessions for staff and manage CPR tracking.
- Track CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for staff.
- Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- In partnership with Nurse Educator, support ongoing education initiatives that promote staff growth and professional development.
- Design and maintain monthly education calendars that list training programs and opportunities to meet clinical and regulatory requirements for staff.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a field such as business administration, organizational management, healthcare, or related discipline.
- Experience in long-term care, healthcare, or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a high-paced work environment.
- Collaborative, approachable and professional demeanor with a passion for supporting employee success.
Schedule
- Primary hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on
- Tuesday through
- Thursday with flexibility to begin at 7:30 a.m. to prepare for scheduled trainings as needed. Open to considering alternative hours within those days.
Pay Range
• The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $27.50/hour.
- (Starting salary is determined based on candidate's experience, education, and relevant skills as well as internal equity considerations.) Due to our vulnerable resident population the COVID vaccine is highly recommended but not required.
