Job description

Elementary English Teacher 2026–2027 School Year Application Review & Interviews

  • Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled beginning April 2026. Colorado International Language Academy (CILA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary English Teacher to teach ELA, Social Studies, and Science for the 2026–27 school year. This position supports students as they strengthen literacy, content knowledge, and critical thinking skills. CILA is a tuition-free public charter school offering language immersion in Spanish, Mandarin, and German. This English-language position plays a key role in supporting academic growth within a globally focused, multilingual school environment.

  • Responsibilities: Teach English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science aligned with Colorado Academic Standards and CILA curriculum Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons across content areas Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Assess student learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and administration Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and expectations Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide events

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required Colorado teaching license preferred but not required Must be able to pass the Praxis exam(s) for the subject areas taught Experience teaching upper elementary preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learning needs Commitment to collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement Enthusiasm for working with students in a multicultural, language-rich environment Salary & Benefits: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials.
