Job description

  • The Department of Modern Languages at Ursinus College invites applications for one or more part-time teaching positions in German language and literature/culture for the Fall 2026 semester.
  • We encourage applications from instructors capable of teaching at any or all levels of German from elementary to advanced.
  • Candidates should have native or near-native fluency in German and English.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess a master’s degree or higher and have experience in teaching college-level German.
  • Complete applications will include a cover letter, C.V., a statement of teaching philosophy, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and the names and contact information for two references.
  • For evidence of teaching effectiveness, you may submit such materials as student evaluations or a teaching observation report.
