The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services to elementary students, including screening, evaluation, and direct therapy. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide high-quality, school-based speech and language services to elementary students across Rocketship Public Schools. This role is responsible for screening, evaluating, diagnosing, and supporting students with speech, language, communication, fluency, voice, articulation, auditory comprehension, cognitive-communication, and augmentative and alternative communication needs. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide both direct and consultative services, develop and implement legally compliant Individualized Education Programs, collaborate with families and school teams, and support students’ access to instruction and participation in the school environment. This position plays an important role in supporting students with disabilities and ensuring services are delivered in alignment with student needs, compliance requirements, and Rocketship’s mission.
Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field. Valid license, certification, or credential required to provide speech-language pathology services in Wisconsin, or ability to obtain required authorization prior to the start of employment. Strong understanding of speech and language development, assessment, intervention, and service delivery in an educational setting. Ability to develop and implement legally compliant IEPs. Ability to collect, analyze, and use student data to inform services and supports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with students, families, educators, school administrators, related service providers, and network staff. Strong organization skills and ability to maintain records, meet deadlines, and manage compliance-related responsibilities. Commitment to Rocketship Public Schools’ mission, vision, and goals. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving school environment. Ability to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist.

Salary Salary band for this role ranges from $80,000 to $87,500 annually. Final salary will be determined based on relevant experience and in accordance with the applicable salary schedule for related service providers.
