Medical Assistant Trainee - Grow Your Own

Trainees will complete four weeks of classroom learning followed by 120 hours of supervised clinical training. They will assist in coordinating direct patient care activities and provide clinical support to providers within a medical practice.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and basic life support certification must be obtained before the externship. While little to no clinical experience is required, prior patient care experience (Such as cna or emt) is preferred.
