The Lead Teacher is responsible for guiding children through daily activities using the Creative Curriculum while ensuring a safe, clean, and educational environment. They must also maintain professional relationships with parents and co-workers while documenting attendance and incident reports.
Hours: 40 Shift: 1st Status: Full Time Job Summary: Lead the children through all activities of the day, assuring they have an enjoyable, well-rounded, positive, educational, emotional and social experience using the Creative Curriculum. Principal
Maintain a clean and safe environment. Turn in Monthly Lesson Plans. Comply with State, Local and Federal regulations. Complete State required 15 ECE training hours. Exhibit good customer relations. Comply with BHL and CDC Standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents and co-workers. Respectful and courteous to all parents, children, and co-workers. Ensure the safety of all children in the classroom and never leave children unattended. Provide developmentally appropriate daily activities. Maintain a neat and organized classroom. Maintain and respect confidentially of children and families in our program. 13Record attendance, medicine administration, and accident/incident reports as needed. Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED required CDA Certification within 2 years OR must obtain an Associate's Degree if not obtained in 2 years Some previous Childcare experience required This position may require you to have First Aide or CPR Certification.
