Diabetes Education Specialist - Inpatient

Provides diabetes self-Care education and support for patients with complex needs to ensure a safe transition from hospital to community. Serves as a clinical expert to improve glycemic control and patient safety through quality improvement initiatives.

Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in clinical patient education. Must hold a valid rn or rd license and obtain cdces certification within two years.
