Core responsibilities
This role assists in coordinating activities within the trauma division, focusing on performance improvement, injury prevention programs, and trauma education, while also overseeing institutional compliance and the trauma center accreditation process. Responsibilities include participating in clinical case conferences, mortality reviews, peer review, and developing/Evaluating clinical management guidelines and trauma-Supported protocols.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in nursing is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in trauma or emergency nursing, and knowledge of medical terminology. Candidates must possess the certified emergency nurse (Cen) certification and a licensed registered nurse (Rn) license in the state of pennsylvania.
