Who you are

You are an eager individual who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community in a clinic-based environment. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will come into Hope as an entry-level mental health service provider. You will implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions to children and adolescents within a therapeutic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO • Treatment - Provide 1

  • 1 behavioral and skill acquisition support and treatment for clients in identified areas of need
  • Reporting - Complete documentation in accordance with Hope deadlines and legal timelines
  • Collaboration - Collaborate with IEP and treatment team including service providers and behavioral personnel to maximize positive impacts to students
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

What you’ll need

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental delays
  • Clearances & Training Required
  • Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance
  • Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education
  • Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
  • Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children
  • CPR/First Aid
  • TB/Physical
