Responsibilities
- Provide and communicate guidance, expertise, and support for parents and caregivers one-on-one and in group settings
- Help youth, caregivers, and family members understand the mandates and perspectives of other team members while navigating through county systems
- Use knowledge of community resources, school systems, or other mental health services to help families identify and connect to a family safety network and/or natural support team in the community
- Ensure parent/caregivers perspectives shape planning decisions, safety and crisis plan, and service strategies
- Actively contribute to team planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Attend and participate in mental health awareness activities in the community
- Participate in weekly supervision/mentorship with the supervisor or designee
- Maintain accurate documentation including mental health notes, timesheets, expense reports, and mileage
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques
Qualifications
Required
- Personal lived experience as the parent or legal guardian of a youth who received services from child-serving systems (child welfare/foster care/adoption, juvenile justice/probation, mental/behavioral health, special education, etc.)
- Bilingual Spanish skill set, pass language proficiency assessment
- High school diploma/GED
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled with supervisor ahead of time
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to maintain healthy boundaries while building trust
- Ability to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
SCHEDULE • Full-time; • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5
- 30pm
- Hybrid; provide in-person services daily & ability to complete administrative tasks remotely
- On-call 3 - 4 times per month; scheduled ahead of time with supervisor
Benefits
- Starting at $26.40 - $28.90 per hour, commensurate with experience
