Pay Rate: $24 – $30 per hour

Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be on providing patient care, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their personal goals.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Provide patient care and support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions. Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the development of care plans that address the unique needs of each client. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions. Collaborate with other team members to enhance the effectiveness of treatment strategies.

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices. Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis relevant to behavioral interventions. Ability to educate clients and families effectively about behavioral techniques. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records. Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hiring.
