Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The Upward Bound Counselor is to provide personal, academic, and career development counseling to low-income potential first-generation college students by equipping participants with the necessary skills to successfully matriculate to post-secondary institutions of their choosing. EXAMPLES OF WORK: Provides client assessments. Coordinates client referrals as necessary and appropriate. Assists with administrative functions. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands: Licenses/ Certifications: LGPC may also be considered with at least 2000 hours of post-graduate supervised clinical work and the ability to obtain a LCSW-C or LCPC license within one year.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
