Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to control access to restricted and authorized areas in accordance with post orders. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols. Communicate with site contacts, employees, travelers, and/or contractors regarding access requirements, directions, and security-related procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and security-related issues. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
