Behavior Technician (Paraprofessional) West Hempstead

Provide one-On-One and small group support to students with autism to help them achieve academic and behavioral goals. Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (Ieps) and behavior intervention plans (Bips) while documenting student progress.

A high school diploma is required, while an associate's degree in education or psychology is preferred. Candidates must be willing to obtain registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification and be physically capable of lifting students and implementing therapeutic holds.
