  • Hours/Days: Part-Time, Seasonal; Practice and event days will be held after school during the school week

  • Compensation: $1,000 one-time stipend payable at the conclusion of the season Key Responsibilities Instruct and work with student-athletes under the guidance of the Head Coach to prepare for performances, games, and competitions Report to the Head Coach and assist with all aspects of the cheer program as assigned Demonstrate leadership through consistent implementation of program expectations and direction Assist in preparation of routines, cheers, performances, and team activities Attend and actively participate in all scheduled practices, games, performances, and events Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment and materials for practices and events Support supervision of student-athletes during team activities Maintain clear, respectful communication with parents, school staff, and student-athletes regarding schedules, expectations, and program updates Lead practices or portions of practices in extenuating circumstances when the Head Coach is not present Promote sportsmanship, school spirit, teamwork, and positive representation of Grand Peak Academy Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Previous coaching or cheerleading experience preferred Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of cheerleading fundamentals, safety practices, and routines Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering a positive, structured, and inclusive team environment Completion of Concussion Training or willingness to obtain prior to season start Adherence to all Grand Peak Academy policies, including the Employee Handbook, Family Handbook, and all applicable school and board policies Mandatory Background check and fingerprinting Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to move throughout gymnasiums, fields, and athletic facilities, both indoors and outdoors
