Job Description

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. THIS POSITION WILL BE IN PERSON, AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT NYC. THIS POSITION ALSO REQUIRES PROOF AND/OR COPIES OF SAT SCORES AS PART OF THE APPLICATION. Kaplan delivers innovative interventions and prep programs that help students advance their education to realize their potential. Our team uses teaching methods based on carefully curated curriculum and score-boosting strategies, and delivers unparalleled practice that adapts to the learner. In this role you will teach SAT students onsite, in person, at various locations throughout NYC (including Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx), in an engaging classroom environment. Teaching will typically take place at a local high after school hours. Schedules will vary but typically consist of 9 two-hour sessions and 1-2 practice exams, meeting 1-3 times a week. Classes usually are held during the school year and on weekday afternoons or Saturdays. Teachers may also have the opportunity to teach and tutor college-bound students in a virtual setting throughout the year. You will receive paid training for both content areas and modalities.
