- The Assistant Coach of Field Hockey is a 10-month, 40-hour per week position with a salary of $36,545, and comes with a full meal plan.
- This role is fully benefitted and also provides full tuition remission of graduate school coursework after six months of employment.
- Williams Field Hockey has consistently been regarded as one of the top Division III field hockey programs, with a tradition of success at the regional and national levels including 15 NCAA tournament appearances.
- Most recent success includes national semifinalist in 2022 and 2024 and second round appearances in 2023 and 2025.
- The team competes in the highly competitive NESCAC conference, which has elevated itself to one of the region’s and country’s toughest conferences in Division III.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach in all areas, including: Student-athlete development Collaborating on and executing advanced practice design and game strategies with student athletes Practice design Travel organization Team transportation and driving Budget Home game management Video and statistical analysis Support the head coach in recruiting efforts to identify and attract top talent Administrative office duties Other duties as assigned by head coach Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and collegiate competing and/or coaching experience required Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively preferred Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA and NESCAC rules The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess the ability to recruit, teach, and coach highly talented scholar-athletes who can succeed in a challenging academic environment Valid driver's license is required The comprehensive benefits package for the Assistant Coach for Women’s Field Hockey includes: Annual Salary: $36,545 Year-Round Support: Fully benefitted, including health insurance coverage from day one and a full meal plan Educational Investment: Tuition remission available after 6 months of employment To prepare for the season and academic year, the anticipated start date for this position is mid-July, 2026.
