Job description
- Emplify is seeking a full-time BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team serving our critical access hospitals.
- This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a rural setting, where your expertise will make a direct impact on patients, families, and the communities we serve.
- The Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions in the emergency department.
- The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering compassionate, efficient care in a critical access environment.
- Our critical access hospitals are located at: Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital & Clinics – Boscobel, WI Gundersen Moundview Hospital & Clinics - Friendship, WI Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital & Clinics – West Union, IA Gundersen St.
- Elizabeth’s Hospital & Clinics – Wabasha, MN Gundersen St.
- Joseph’s Hospital & Clinics – Hillsboro, WI Gundersen Tri-County Hospital & Clinics – Whitehall, WI Physicians have flexibility in their practice across these locations, with the option to work at some or all sites based on scheduling preferences and organizational needs.
- Experience in emergency medicine, rural medicine, or critical access hospitals a plus.

- In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
- Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians.
- Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
