- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Childcare Teacher to join our growing and thriving organization.
- This is your opportunity to provide both customer service and effective engagement to the children/families we serve while doing the work you love in the beautiful coulee region of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
- What's Available: Casual Call position - flexible hours to meet your schedule!
- Shifts: Monday-Friday, between 6am-6pm Location: Onsite, Child Care Center - La Crosse, WI What you will do: Plan and implement daily developmentally appropriate programs for children.
- Maintain a safe and conducive environment for growth and development.
- Create tailored lesson plans and promote positive self-esteem.
- Communicate effectively with families and facilitate parent conferences.
- Ensure compliance with licensing rules and oversee co-teachers and volunteers.

- What you need: High School Diploma or equivalency, along with two years of higher education or an equivalent combination of higher education and/or work experience as a childcare teacher in a licensed childcare center.
- If higher education is not in child development, course work will be required within 3 months of hire to include: “Introduction to the Child Care Profession”, “Skills and Strategies of the Childcare Teacher.” Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
