- Duties: This position is located in Little Rock Arkansas. Adjunct Faculty in a Dental GPR program provide part-time clinical instruction, supervision, and mentorship to residents in a hospital or academic setting. The role supports training aligned with standards set by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Responsibilities
· Oversee residents during clinical care hours · Provide chairside teaching and case-based instruction · Evaluate residents based on CODA standards provided by the program director · Guide residents in managing medically complex patients · Review and co-sign patient records and treatment notes · Ensure safe, evidence-based treatment planning and execution · Occasionally deliver lectures or seminars (depending on program needs) · Mentor residents on clinical decision-making and professionalism · Work with attending dentists, specialists, and hospital staff Qualifications: Qualifications: · Doctorate in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation · 5 years in practice as a licensed dentist OR completed a GPR/AEGD · Current licensure from the Arkansas Board of Dental Examiners · Current Certificate in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
