Job description

The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for providing direct assistance to procurement team members. The core responsibilities include entering contracts into the Contract Management System, assisting buyers with general procurement tasks, participating in and responding to internal audit requests and related procedures, organizing meetings and booking rooms, retrieving quotes and agreements, providing administrative support for RFP/RFI’s, modifying contracts as instructed, other duties as assigned. The position involves routine contact with Strategic Sourcing team members but may have some interaction with University Stakeholders and Suppliers.

Essential Functions

  • Data entry (inputting contracts into Unimarket).
  • Directing the workflow approval of contracts, expediting approvals, preparing weekly status reports.
  • Various procurement related duties such as processing Amazon orders, making corporate card purchases and similar tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years in general office administration or administrative support experience required.

  • Strong attention to detail
