Woodland Job Corps Center is seeking an energetic and motivated Career Transition Specialist to help students transition into meaningful careers, higher education, and advanced training opportunities. In this rewarding role, you will mentor students, provide career coaching and placement support, and connect them with employers and community resources that promote long-term success. What You’ll Do ✔ Provide career counseling and individualized student support ✔ Assist students with job placement, college, and training opportunities ✔ Build partnerships with local employers and community organizations ✔ Develop and monitor student transition plans ✔ Motivate and mentor students toward personal and professional success ✔ Maintain accurate documentation and case management records What We’re Looking For ✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills ✔ Experience in workforce development, counseling, education, or case management preferred ✔ Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed ✔ Organized, professional, and team-oriented mindset Make a difference every day while helping students build brighter futures. Qualifications📌 Education & Requirements ✔ Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Science, Business, Communications, or a closely related field from an accredited institution OR ✔ Associate’s degree in one of the fields listed above plus 2 years of related experience Additional Requirements ✔ Must possess a valid in-state driver’s license ✔ Must meet company insurability requirements “Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
