Essential Job Functions Supports the School’s mission statement and the philosophy of the department and adheres to School policies and procedures, including but not limited to what is outlined in the Employee Handbook Coaches and administers the in-school and after-school lesson program Assists in the development of new programs and “out of the pool” activities Ensures the safety and security of all swimmers and Pine Crest students in and around the pool, pool deck, and locker rooms Teaches 3 year old and under “learn to swim” skills and teach adult “learn to swim” skills for people 18 years and older Assists the Lessons Director as needed Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Supervisor or their designee Qualifications Job Qualifications Education High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience and Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience coaching athletics, specifically a USDA Diving Program.
