Job description
- The summer intern will work closely with various departments within Meharry Medical College to gain hands-on experience and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
- This internship offers an opportunity to develop professional skills, expand knowledge in specific areas of interest, and gain practical experience in a higher education setting.
- Daily Operations Assist with administrative tasks as assigned – data entry, filing, and organizing documents Provide support for events, workshops, and seminars hosted by the college Assist with social media management, including content creation and scheduling posts Collaborate with team members on special projects and assignments Provide support to faculty members in preparing course materials and presentations Attend meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to various aspects of college operations Required Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Prior experience in a related field is a plus but not required Required Education and Experience Varies based upon applicant age.
