About the role

The intern will provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and scheduling, while assisting with college events and workshops. Additionally, they will manage social media content and support faculty in preparing course materials.

Administrative, using excel, working on Blackboard, calling students, working with faculty, scheduling meetings, attention to details and able to multi-task, if good with social media, that would be great.

Position Summary

The summer intern will work closely with various departments within Meharry Medical College to gain hands-on experience and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives. This internship offers an opportunity to develop professional skills, expand knowledge in specific areas of interest, and gain practical experience in a higher education setting.

  • Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) – Assign a percentage to each essential function (equal to 100%):
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned – data entry, filing, and organizing documents

  • Provide support for events, workshops, and seminars hosted by the college
