Hours

Part Time, Monday through Friday (3-4 days per week). Between 8am-6pm Overview As a Small Group Employment Work Associate Instructor, you’ll play a key role in preparing individuals for meaningful, community‑integrated employment. In this position, you will provide pre‑employment training, support individuals in developing work habits and vocational skills, and ensure a safe, engaging, and growth‑focused environment. This non‑exempt role reports to the Small Group Employment Work Services Instructor and requires adaptability across diverse work training settings, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to our agency mission, values, and code of conduct. What You’ll Have High school diploma or equivalent Experience in the human services field or demonstrated aptitude for the role Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow agency procedures Skills in practical problem‑solving, safety awareness, and supporting individualized needs Ability to complete required trainings, certifications, and annual in‑service hours Flexibility to adapt to changes in duties, scheduling, or program needs A Typical Day May Include Supporting individuals in developing job skills, workplace behavior, communication skills, and independence. Implementing safety procedures, maintaining supervision levels, and responding to health concerns. Assisting individuals during fire drills or emergency evacuations. Completing accurate daily documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, attendance, and assessments. Supervising and coaching individuals through work activities designed to support competitive, community‑integrated employment. Participating in ISP meetings, team discussions, and staffing to support program goals. Helping develop curriculum, adaptive materials, and individualized training plans. Training new staff and serving as a positive role model in the program. Coordinating with contract managers and instructors to ensure high‑quality services at assigned contract sites. Maintaining professional relationships with businesses and supporting customer satisfaction. Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe while promoting health and safety practices to consumers. Adjusting to additional duties or tasks as assigned by program leadership.
