Minimum Qualifications

  • Teach specific Health Information Management and Technology courses as noted below. HITC 100, Introduction to Medical Office Procedures; HITC 200 Medical Billing, Insurance and Health Record Review; HITC 210 health Information and Physician Practice Management.
  • Master’s Degree required from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Experience with online delivery systems (D2L Brightspace) is highly desirable. DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide classroom instruction in the Business department.
  • Evaluate student performance.
  • Participation in departmental, division wide, and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported
  • At the direction of the Department Chairperson, Adjunct faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract. The Salary is $1,523.00 per contact hour.
